MARCHINGTON WOODLANDS VILLAGE HALL - HIRE CHARGES 2023

 

• HOURLY RATE                            £20.00 per hour

• WEDDING/FULL DAY HIRE          £200.00 per day  

• FIELD HIRE                                £7.50 per hour

The full hire fee to be paid prior to the event

If you require preparation or clearing up time that is outside the quoted hire periods, please flag this, when making your booking.  The Village Hall Committee will do its best to accommodate your request but must also consider anyone hiring the hall either before or after your booking.  An additional fee may have to be charged. 

 

All hirers will pay a Good Care Deposit of £50.00 on booking the hall.  This will be returned if the hall and contents are left in the same condition as prior to hire

Facilities available within the hall.  Main Hall  (5.7metresx 16.2metres )  NUMBER OF PERSONS 90 SEATED OR 120 STANDING

   

Kitchen equipped with: 

• 2 Sinks /main sink/washing area. WASHING UP HOT WATER SWITCH ON UNDER THE SINK

• Boiling Water on tap in the kitchen area (Switch on by the boiler)

• 2 Double Ovens/  I  Hob (Four rings) 

• 2 fridges 

• Store room/bar area equipped with large heated food trolley, sink, hot water and fridge for wine cooling only. 

• Stage (1.1 Metres X 3.6 Metres)     Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilets   

• Field ( Approx. 1⁄2 acre)   

• Equipment :

• Upholstered Chairs (60)  Blue Chairs(30) Greens Chairs  (not to be hired out from the hall)

• 10 FOLDING TABLES (seats  8 people) and square card tables (12)   (within the hall)

• Trestle Tables(2) and outdoor chairs.  (stored in shed area) 10 Square tables

• Cutlery 90 (forks ,knives, spoons )and crockery 90 cups/saucers/tea plates/large plates

WE ASK THAT THE HALL IS LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY, AND SUITABLE FOR THE NEXT HIRER. ALL WASTE AND RUBBISH SHOULD BE DISPOSED IN THE APPROPRIATE MANNER  IN OWN WASTE BINS OR NEARBY RECYCLING CENTRE.

Information for catering vans/disco hire - There is an "Entrance Height Barrier" into the hall car park which is 2 metres high. This can be removed to allow high vehicle access.
